[REVIEW] Tous les Jours Macaron de Paris

I first heard about these macarons during Etude House's Playhouse Pink Fair, since Tous les Jours is a sister company, they gave away Pink Macarons during the event! :))

TLJ Macarons were announced to be sold last August 1 in their Official Facebook Page.

These was the first thing that came into my mind when we went to Alabang Town Center, I love how the people at TLJ are greeting in Korean now and are really friendly, I was really disappointed with them during my first few visits a week after their opening.

Since it was my first time trying out these Macarons, I bought all flavors. There were sets available on display so they don't have to wrap it individually.

There are 5 available flavors: Vanilla, Strawberry, Mango, Green Tea, and Chocolate
The colors are really pretty, specially the Mango and Strawberry flavor :))

Strawberry: I LOVE THIS FLAVOR! it isn't too sweet too, it made me want to buy more!

Mango: I actually gave this flavor to my brother, he was complaining that it didn't even taste like mango, but when I took a small bite, it had a little bit of Mango after-taste, this was pretty okay too.

Chocolate: This flavor is really good too! It was a little bit on the sweet side, I ate this after dinner.

Green Tea: My mom ate this flavor, and I just took a small piece, when they said 'Green Tea' it really taste like Green Tea, the taste is really there, it wasn't sweet as well. I didn't like it to be honest.

Vanilla: I was really disappointed with this flavor :( I didn't enjoy it at all, there wasn't that much cream inside and it tasted like baked egg whites.

These costs P28 each, pretty cheap really, and because they have a pre-packed set, you could give them as presents.

I'm totally buying ALL-STRAWBERRY next time! ^^

This Promos is until August 31, 2012

Better grab your Macarons now!

[REVIEW] Nature Republic Apple Dome Blusher

Hi Everyone!

For today I'll be doing a review on Nature Republic's Apple Dome Blusher.

I bought this is in Myeongdong during our trip to Korea last july, I first saw this at Nature Republic Festival Branch a few months ago, and the cover used to be Goo Hara of KARA, I got curious about this type of blusher, since you don't need to apply this using a brush, so I didn't hesitate to buy this when we passed by Nature Republic in Korea :))

At first, I thought this was a powder based blush, but after using it for the first time it was actually cream based, I'm nowhere disappointed yet, since I like trying new things, So I bought #1 Pink Apple!

Contains 8.5g.

How to use: Tap the cheek using light strokes
"This dome-shaped blusher can be used directly on the cheeks by gently tapping its case, without having to use a brush. It will leave your cheeks looking like a lovely apple by delivering a smooth, powdery finish without smudge marks. Apple extract and natural butter ingredients keep the skin bright and transparent."

The packing itself is very convenient, but a bit bulky, it's small, so you can always carry this around in your purse, and because of its shape it's easy to re-apply when needed. In my case, I love how its very convenient for those girls who are always on the rush and have no time, because I'm the type who doesn't even bother wearing blush-ons when I rush to school.

1 swipe
2 swipes
For me 3-4 swipes is enough on my cheeks, it may appear strong at first, but all you need to do is blend it out with your fingers and your good to go.

*When the content has been depleted after several applications, keep the cap closed and turn in a clockwise direction to release more content

What I like:
  • Color is very light.
  • Don't have to apply using a brush.
  • Easy to apply and blend
  • Convenient packaging
  • Doesn't cause me to break out on my cheeks
  • Has a powdery finish, no shimmers.
  • Light and Smooth Texture
  • No Paraben
What I don't like:
  • Lasting power doesn't meet my expectation.
  • Easily comes off when blended out too much.
;;+;;+;;

Do I recommend?
-Yes for those girls who are always on the rush.

Will I re-purchase?
-I think I won't.

See you guys till my next review!~

[071512][HAUL] NATURE REPUBLIC KOREA

This is part 2 of my Korean Cosmetics Haul from Korea, this time it's products from Nature Republic :))

I'm not much of a big fan of Nature Republic yet, but I've heard a lot good reviews on some of their products, some of the things we bought aren't mine, some belongs to my mother, and majority of the products were recommended by the consultant.

Snail Therapy BB Cream, this came with a replacement sponge, very much similar to Etude House's Precious Mineral Sun BB, the consultant recommended this for Philippine weather, Bought it for 25,000won.
Apple Dome Blusher #1, I first saw this at Nature Republic Festival Mall Branch a few months ago, I'm currently using this too! :)) Bought it for 7,700won.
Maccola Soap, apparently this contains 'Makgeolli Extract' which came from Wheat and Rice, the consultant says it helps brighten the skin and pimple marks, bought 4 boxes for 40,000 won (10,000won each)
SNAYTOC EX Watery Cream, I'll be honest, I know nothing about this product, except that it contains gold, and is ridiculously expensive! My mom bought these for 120,000won(60,000won per box.) these came with 4 Collagen Dream hydro gel eye patch.
Soothing and Moisturizing Aloe Vera Gel, I've heard so much about this being one of top best selling products of Nature Republic, getting sold out so many times, this contained 4 tubs of Aloe Vera Gel, and came with a free facial mask inside the plastic, bought 4 tubs for 17,600 won (4,400won each tub)

The consultant gave us a lot of Jang Geun Suk Freebies! 1 Eco bag, 1 poster, 2 clear file folders, 3 mini standees, 1 passport case, 1 box of cotton pads, 2 zip-lock cases, and 2 snail therapy masks.

Total = 210,300 won (Est. 8,420php)

This ends Part 2 of my korean cosmetics haul!~
안녕!~
