Bulgogi Brothers - "Korea's Best is finally here!"

As much as I want to keep reviewing about korean cosmetics, I don't want this blog to be just another beauty blog, so this is my review on Bulgogi Brothers.

Bulgogi Brothers is an Authentic Korean BQQ Restaurant from Korea, they now have 3 branches open in the Philippines, First branch is in Greenbelt 5, Second branch in Alabang Town Center, and then Mall of Asia, which opened last August 06, 2012.

Bulgogi Brothers is under The Bistro Group of Companies who also owns Italliani's, T.G.I. Friday's, Fish and Co., Crazy Garlic, Ma Maison, The Village Tavern, Pig Out, The Stock Market, and Flapjacks.

These are a few photos I took on the last day of my training.

[REVIEW] Nature Republic Apple Dome Blusher

Hi Everyone!

For today I'll be doing a review on Nature Republic's Apple Dome Blusher.

I bought this is in Myeongdong during our trip to Korea last july, I first saw this at Nature Republic Festival Branch a few months ago, and the cover used to be Goo Hara of KARA, I got curious about this type of blusher, since you don't need to apply this using a brush, so I didn't hesitate to buy this when we passed by Nature Republic in Korea :))

At first, I thought this was a powder based blush, but after using it for the first time it was actually cream based, I'm nowhere disappointed yet, since I like trying new things, So I bought #1 Pink Apple!

Contains 8.5g.

How to use: Tap the cheek using light strokes
"This dome-shaped blusher can be used directly on the cheeks by gently tapping its case, without having to use a brush. It will leave your cheeks looking like a lovely apple by delivering a smooth, powdery finish without smudge marks. Apple extract and natural butter ingredients keep the skin bright and transparent."

The packing itself is very convenient, but a bit bulky, it's small, so you can always carry this around in your purse, and because of its shape it's easy to re-apply when needed. In my case, I love how its very convenient for those girls who are always on the rush and have no time, because I'm the type who doesn't even bother wearing blush-ons when I rush to school.

1 swipe
2 swipes
For me 3-4 swipes is enough on my cheeks, it may appear strong at first, but all you need to do is blend it out with your fingers and your good to go.

*When the content has been depleted after several applications, keep the cap closed and turn in a clockwise direction to release more content

What I like:
  • Color is very light.
  • Don't have to apply using a brush.
  • Easy to apply and blend
  • Convenient packaging
  • Doesn't cause me to break out on my cheeks
  • Has a powdery finish, no shimmers.
  • Light and Smooth Texture
  • No Paraben
What I don't like:
  • Lasting power doesn't meet my expectation.
  • Easily comes off when blended out too much.
;;+;;+;;

Do I recommend?
-Yes for those girls who are always on the rush.

Will I re-purchase?
-I think I won't.

See you guys till my next review!~

[071512][HAUL] NATURE REPUBLIC KOREA

This is part 2 of my Korean Cosmetics Haul from Korea, this time it's products from Nature Republic :))

I'm not much of a big fan of Nature Republic yet, but I've heard a lot good reviews on some of their products, some of the things we bought aren't mine, some belongs to my mother, and majority of the products were recommended by the consultant.

Snail Therapy BB Cream, this came with a replacement sponge, very much similar to Etude House's Precious Mineral Sun BB, the consultant recommended this for Philippine weather, Bought it for 25,000won.
Apple Dome Blusher #1, I first saw this at Nature Republic Festival Mall Branch a few months ago, I'm currently using this too! :)) Bought it for 7,700won.
Maccola Soap, apparently this contains 'Makgeolli Extract' which came from Wheat and Rice, the consultant says it helps brighten the skin and pimple marks, bought 4 boxes for 40,000 won (10,000won each)
SNAYTOC EX Watery Cream, I'll be honest, I know nothing about this product, except that it contains gold, and is ridiculously expensive! My mom bought these for 120,000won(60,000won per box.) these came with 4 Collagen Dream hydro gel eye patch.
Soothing and Moisturizing Aloe Vera Gel, I've heard so much about this being one of top best selling products of Nature Republic, getting sold out so many times, this contained 4 tubs of Aloe Vera Gel, and came with a free facial mask inside the plastic, bought 4 tubs for 17,600 won (4,400won each tub)

The consultant gave us a lot of Jang Geun Suk Freebies! 1 Eco bag, 1 poster, 2 clear file folders, 3 mini standees, 1 passport case, 1 box of cotton pads, 2 zip-lock cases, and 2 snail therapy masks.

Total = 210,300 won (Est. 8,420php)

This ends Part 2 of my korean cosmetics haul!~

[REVIEW] Etude House Precious Mineral Bright Fit

안녕하세요~

For today I will be doing my very first review, which is about Etude's Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit!

This is suppose to be the new and improved version of Etude's All-day Strong, funny enough I didn't know about Bright Fit in the first place.

I bought this in Korea around 2 weeks ago in Myeongdong, I wasn't informed by the consultant, I just simply asked for the #2, because I was really set to buying All-day Strong, but when I got back on the 23rd, I found out that All-day Strong was phased out and Bright fit is the upgraded version. (Yes, I didn't check the box Before and After I paid, I didn't check the shade either.)

There are 4 shades Available:
  • Light Beige - N02
  • Natural Beige - W13
  • Honey Beige - W24
  • Sand Beige - W15
Like I said, I bought #2 which luckily is Natural Beige! (I will check the box before buying next time. haha)

This is actually the first BB Cream that I have ever bought in Etude House, but I've heard so much reviews on their All-day strong, but alas I was too late, I didn't even get to try it.

Natural Beige is the 2nd lightest shade out of the Four, and honestly all the foundations I bought in the past were all Natural beige, but nothing really blended into my skin tone till now, so I was really happy that Precious Mineral Bright Fit Natural beige blended so naturally to my skin tone and it's easy to apply too! <3

So according to the Advertisement, Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright fit has:

  • 5a-AVOCUTA Ingredient, which controls sebum and prevents darkening.
  • Natural Anti-Oxidization powder, prevents darkening, and gives the skin a bright and healthy skin tone.
  • Pearl Extract, whitening and hydrating effect to make the skin bright and clear.
  • Seaweed Extract, contains plenty of minerals to hydrate and moisturize skin.

  • I love that it has a Pump~

Usually one pump is already enough to cover my entire face, but I had to pump at little bit more for my neck.
    Under Natural light
    w/ Flash
    What I like:
    • Doesn't break me out, usually I easily break out when I apply BB creams on my face.
    • Helps lighten pimple marks, after only a few days, I already notice some of them lightening already.
    • Gives me a brighter complexion.
    • Has a Pump, which is very hygienic! :D
    • Blends well with my skin tone.
    • Very light, it's like I'm not wearing anything on my face at all.
    • SPF 30 / PA++, Perfect for the hot afternoons~
    • Doesn't feel sticky :))
    • Doesn't make my face look dull at all even if I only wear lipgloss with it.
    • Has a sweet scent, but not overpowering.
    What I don't like:
    • Lasting power, it was fading by the end of the day (Was wearing this 8AM till 4PM)
    • Oil control is :((
    ;;+;;+;;

    Will I re-purchase?
-Definitely! But I'd like to try the Precious Mineral Sun BB next! :))

    Do I recommend?
-Yes, remember to check the shade before buying^^~

    Till next time~ Annyeong~

    [071512][HAUL] ETUDE HOUSE KOREA

I recently came back home from Korea last July 23rd, and all I could say was that buying cosmetics in Korea is way better than buying it here, not just because of the prices, but the quantity, and places of availability.

These are all the Etude House products I bought on the first day we went to Myeongdong, and when you do go there, don't worry you won't get lost, because in every street you turn to there will always be an Etude House, The Face Shop, Nature Republic, Holika holika, It's Skin, Aritaum, Innisfree, and Skinfood branches, it's a make-up haven for all make-up artists!

    On to the Haul!

Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit, I bought the W013, which is Natural Beige, This is also available in other shades, supposedly this is an improved version of their Precious Mineral BB Cream, honestly I thought I bought the All-day Strong, but I heard that it was discontinued and this is the *improved* version.
    This costed 14,000 won.

Sleeping Pack Brightening, Bought it for 8, 500 won.

SHINI STAR BB Lotion, Bought it for 9,000 won.

Milk Talk in Chocolate and Banana, Bought these for 5, 500 won each, total of 11, 000 won.

Wonder Pore Freshener 250mL, Bought this for 15, 000 won.
Lip and Eye Remover, Bought it for 4, 000 won.
SHINI STAR Lip Balms, Bought it for 5, 500 won each, the consultant gave me a pack instead of buying individually, costed 27, 500 won.
Baking Powder B.B. Deep Cleansing Foam, Bought it for 7, 500 won
Bling Bling Eye Stick #06 Great Bear Star, Bought it for 4, 000 won.
Proof 10 Auto Pencil BK801, Bought it for 6, 000 won

Color my Brows #1, Bought this for 6,000 won

They gave me a box of cotton pads, a lot of product samples such as the Moistful Collagen Trial Kit, Baking Powder Moisturizing, Milk Talk Choco, Pearl Essence mask, Collagen Moistful Homme, and Fresh Cherry Tint, a SHINee Poster, Diary, and Clearfile Folder.

    Total = 112, 500 won (Est. 4, 500pesos) Money well spent!~^^

So this is only part 1 of my Korean Cosmetic Haul, I'll post the other's when I get to have some time~

    [033012] [HAUL] ETUDE HOUSE

So my mom's best friend gave me these as presents, last christmas she actually promised to buy me new make-up, but I haven't really wanted anything in particular yet, till I saw the SHINI Start Collection, which I plan to buy soon.

    So here are the products!

Oh m'Eye Lash Double Up Volume, I've read a lot of good reviews about this mascara, unfortunately I still have my Mascara from Nature Republic, so I guess I wont be using this yet.

Plumping Lip Tint (PINK), I was pretty surprised when I saw this inside the paper bag, since from what my "tita" told me, she bought me a lipstick, but I got this plumper instead, I still like it actually, but I still have my Woo~ Baby Lip Plumper, so again another make-up in-stock.

Last is the Baby Skin Veiling Pact #2, It's actually my first time seeing this, since I don't see that much review about it, but I'll give it a try even if I'm not much of a fan of Compact Powders.

The Baking Powder must have been a freebie, I shall give it a try when I have time, and maybe purchase the actual product.

I should probably start doing reviews on every cosmetic product I have used.
